fiction portions of legacy

It is perhaps easier to list the fiction in Legacy. All of the characters, including the politicians (with the exception of President Bush) are fiction, although the inventions attributed to character Orrick Chandler are the nonfiction inventions of Dr. Paul M. Brown.

The FFCC tax, the delineation of SEZ zones (as well as which specific geographical areas receive SEZ designations), and applying IRS provisions to agricultural subsidies are leaps of fiction.  The 4C, Sliver and Venture are fiction, although not far from real devices.

The specific post-2005 international agreements (Moscow Treaty, Barcelona Framework, Athens Accord, Seoul Accord) and related meetings are fiction, yet all are based upon nonfiction proposals by analysts in the field.  The Moscow Treaty being a mild departure from Kyoto follows forecasts by international analysts; the Factor 4 and Factor 10 theories do exist, but the idea that they would become actual treaties is a leap of fiction.  The political positions taken by specific countries (China, Italy, EU, Australia) are fiction, based upon actions these nations have taken in the past. Political actions taken by the U.S. at “Barcelona” are fiction, based upon real U.S. actions at Bonn in 2001.

Lares and the energy plan, LA Future Fair, PLASE, ROOTS & REGROW are fictional only in their compilation; their individual elements are all very real.

Legacy LA was fiction when I authored the chapters of Part I, yet early readers of the manuscript are in the process of bringing it to life.

Let’s bring it all to life
